SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a overview conference of the Community Performs (R&B) Division at the Civil Secretariat on Wednesday.
The Lt Governor reviewed the development of road infrastructure assignments less than PMDP, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna, Central Road and Infrastructure Fund, NABARD RIDF, Towns and Towns (Macadamization), Pothole Free of charge Streets Programme, Bridge and Road sector, Nationwide Freeway, and Tunnel Assignments. He also took inventory of Ropeway Initiatives in JK under Parvatmala.
The Lt Governor emphasised on checking the ongoing initiatives for quality handle and instructed the executing companies to adhere to the timelines for completion of the tasks.
He directed for a safety audit of roadways and bridges and to take corrective measures anywhere vital.
Senior officials of NHAI, NHIDCL, and BRO briefed the chair on the position of the main jobs which include Delhi-Katra-Amritsar Expressway, Semi Ring Street Jammu Srinagar, Udhampur-Ramban Area, Ramban-Banihal Part, Jammu-Akhnoor road, Chenani-Sudhmahadev-Goha-Khellani road, Z-Morh tunnel, Zojila Tunnel.
The assembly also mentioned Human Useful resource Administration in perspective of the merger of JKPCC with the PW (R&B) Division. The Lt Governor requested the officers to examine the prospects of producing committed divisions for Buildings & Bridges in the section.
The conference was attended by Atal Dulloo, Chief Secretary Santosh D Vaidya, Principal Secretary, Finance Division Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner/Secretary GAD Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the Lt Governor Bhupinder Kumar, Administrative Secretary, General public Performs (R&B) Division, Divisional Commissioners, Main Engineers, and senior officials of PW(R&B), NHAI, NHIDCL, BRO, and other concerned departments.
