Division of Migrant Personnel (DMW) Officer-in-Demand Hans Leo J. Cacdac extended the DMW’s sympathies and condolences to the husband and family of the Filipina who died in past week’s fireplace at the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Sharjah district.
Cacdac spoke with the spouse and assured him of the DMW’s and government’s fullest guidance through this challenging time.
The DMW’s Migrant Staff Business office in Dubai (MWO-Dubai) claimed that just one Filipina died while 10 overseas Filipino staff (OFWs) and two youngsters ended up injured in the fire that razed a 39-storey residential making in the Sharjah district final April 4, 2024.
MWO-Dubai has frequented all the injured OFWs and two young children to confirm their condition and to decide their further requirements. They are recovering at a community hotel organized for them by Sharjah regional federal government officials.
MWO-Dubai is functioning for the repatriation of the stays of the Filipina who died in the fireplace. Her partner, who was amongst people injured, was discharged from healthcare facility yesterday and is recuperating from his injuries at the residence device of a spouse and children close friend.
