THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) responded to Sen. Francis ‘Tol’ Tolentino to include in the released weather update what color clothes should be worn to suit the weather.
In the SOS program of DZRH, Sen. Tolentino asked Analiza Solis, chief of Climate Monitoring and Prediction of DOST-PAGASA if his suggestion can be considered.
For example, if the weather is hot, it is recommended to wear white or light colors and if it rains, dark colors are recommended.
In this way, Tolentino said, the public will be able to understand the weather more easily and will be able to wear the appropriate amount for the weather.
Solis thanked Sen. Tolentino for his suggestion and promised to put icons in their weather updates regarding recommended clothing based on weather conditions.
According to Sen. Tolentino, he got an extra point again, after the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) approved also his suggestion to implement price control during El Nino.
